How to Drill for a Flange
You're using a more traditional punch where people are familiar with this. Normally you put your head right over and look at like you're looking down a rifle scope. You give it very small precise movements until you get that cross hair right onto your scribe marks. And then what you wind up with is a really, really precise punch hold mark for you to set your drill bits into.
