Love Poetry - Is There a Connection Between Love and Nature?
In the bagavigita, no less o being than christna says in raso opsiconte, i am the taste of water. Calydasa is exquisitely aware of the contradiction that he's dealing with. How can a cloud carry a message? How can language lead you to pure love, or any love? The exquisite part is that the cloud in the poem never goes anywhere. That's where i think it's valuable, in re directing our love to the wonder around us.
