The EU's Digital Markets Act

The European Commission has released the first seven companies that meet the definition of gatekeeper under the digital markets act. Amazon's planned acquisition of Roomba Maker iRobot is facing scrutiny from the European Union. Former Apple design chief Joni Ive recently completed his first hardware project since leaving the multi-trillion dollar fruit company and starting his own design firm. The product in question is a turntable made in collaboration with British audio brand Lin to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary.
