The Decline of the Health Insurance CPI
Health insurance prices have been consistently falling by about three to 4% month over month, over the past 10 months or so. But that's going to come to an end and once that does, that's also one source, one methodological quirk that's been weighing on the CPI will go away. So I think you see all these negative month to month numbers for the price of health insurance, medical care services, but that'll become a positive in October. And now instead of being a drag on inflation, I'll be adding to inflation.
