Pundit: For commentators to stand down, I think it's a really brave step. BBC chairman Richard Sharp is at the center of two investigations over his appointment. He donated £400,000 to the Conservatives and allegedly helped facilitate an £800,000 loan facility to Boris Johnson just weeks before he was recommended for the job.
