What Is the Legacy of the Suma Sacra Magic?
The s s m was probably most directly influential for later magical works in general. The other known early copy of the honorious ritual at the british library does not appear to be directly dependent upon it. Ganell's name pops up a handful of times up through the sixteenth century, including in trithemius antipalus meleficorum. But otherwise, it sems like the the s s m has only really re entered scholarly and practitioner discourse since the manuscript itself was rediscovered in the 19 sixties.
