The Weeping of God Becomes the Flood of Noah
As moses adom frames it, the flood happens because god is crying over his children. I just think that is poetry shed forth their tears as rain upon the mountains. And i love that in the imagery that it sounds like satan is looking up. It says he looked up. Ah, so he was below it. But god, if the rain is falling, i'm thinking god is above and looking down,. And it's kind of a frightening imagery, but i like the idea of him looking up and god looking down. Also, when i've taught this, i talk about satan laughing.
