Echo: This is much more conceptually complex than Zootropolis. I wouldn't say that it's bad, but it's weird. What you actually have is this reductive stereotypical set of characters. The daughter is supposed to inherit the convenience store from her father. And then the water guy, he's all free to be what he wants, but he's quite drippy. He goes with the flow. We simply get this recitation of no notions,. really, ethnicized notions of being.
