The History of the CIA's Front Companies

The Human Ecology Fund was set up by the CIA, primarily to fund social science research and some medical research. A lot of what they funded is very similar to programs that go on now with public funding. There were a lot of liberal anti-communist programs that were funded off the books through these programs because Congress wouldn't fund them. And so I switched over to doing more sort of soft power scholarships and things like that.
