The Rise of Hate Speech
The internet is history's largest sewer and there are literally, if you'll forgive my language, shit tides of this stuff just waiting to come out of that box in your pocket. And the question is what do we do about this absolute explosion of hate speech in the broadest sense? Too often I think in Europe we immediately look to the state, to the law, to the courts, to the police to address it. But they're actually in a sense two separate subjects.
