Preston: Medical schools are evolving, but the predominant length of their educational experience have been in rows and seats and chairs and teachers. He says they're finding that developing someone intellectually to enter these environments and expecting them to figure it out isn't working. "We've got to get back into the business of not teaching treading water but teaching swimming," he says.
