In my church, we do it as often as we gather, you know? So I grew up in churches and I know about churches that take the supper twice a year. Sometimes the folks do it once a quarter or on first Sunday but I am in a church for the first time where we do it weekly. And so I think that the Lord knows that we're whole persons and that we need to hear and see and then eat and taste.

When new converts are brought into the church, they are often loaded up with the need to read the Bible, pray, practice repentance, and get into the community—but equally vital to spiritual health is a right understanding of and participation in the means of grace.
