The Refinas Doctrine of the Church
In 1533, Erasmus wrote a catechism and used refinas's exposition of the apostles creed. People have run with that phrase so much to say this is not the historic doctrine of the church at least in terms of freedom affirmation. This was not in the creed, but then refinas says right then and there that it seems to be or he says it is implied,. The descent of Christ is implied, it is implicitly contained in the words he was buried. But people also run with that statement and said, refinas believes that the burial and the descent are the same thing.
