The thiolacine is an extinct marsupial that almost, it's called the tazza. The Australian government actually put bounties on the heads of thiolacines and eradicated them. Andrew Pasp has worked for the last 15 years on collecting samples and DNA. And now the tools are making it easier in him to kind of assemble that genome.
