Watch Towers for the Win?

Most people that use watch towers on LND. So watch tower is a separate server that is watching your channel states and then if they see a malicious channel state, they publish the justice transaction for you. But my understanding is the LND watch tower was also broken. They like bundle a watch tower in LND, but that also uses BTCD so that wouldn't protect as well.
