Michigan Governor, I'm a Democrat. I've Got a Job to Do.
I think that part of my experience and my upbringing is we've got to try to find common ground. And at the end of the day, I've got a job to do. I swore an oath to the Constitution of Michigan, not to the ideology of one political party. You know what's interesting? In every caucus I've been a part of, there's always a debate. Is our job to reflect the people we serves or to lead the people we serve?
