Is There a Preservation of Traditions Under Capitalism?
Capitalism has almost entirely annihilated several different strands of tradition within society, like artistinal labor and stuff like that. And this stuff under capitalism is either bastardized by being completely mechanized into for purposesof overproduction or ar completely eliminated because profit can't be extracted out of them. We live in monoculture, and it'se american culture tat anything that even resembles an alternative to that which questions American monoculture is removed from the equation very quickly. It's much easier for a friday morning tradition to be passing through macdonald's than to actually set downhold hands, do a prayer and have a well cooked meal. Even tiny things like this one would not
