The Importance of Mandate Flexibility in Crypto
The prop shop helped set up a crypto desk in 2021, which if you're operating within a large hedge fund with a defined mandate is certainly not something you'll have the opportunity to do. The biggest one I think is that traditional markets are much more intermediated thanCrypto markets are. Another big difference is that crypto is much more real time. There's lots of randomness and we call it jitter or low latency because of this.
