The Importance of Onomatopoeia
Onomatopoeia is a class of words that imitate the sound they're trying to describe. The Bosque people in what we now know as Spain have one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen onomatopoes for snoring. Sesquipidalian just means very long and traces back to a Latin phrase meaning a foot and a half. Do you have any thoughts on this week's Brewster? Share them with CNN iReport.
