The Importance of Handwriting in the Creation of Scripts
We think we have from the Greco-Roman world, about 20% of what was written. Without them, we would have lost touch with that ancient world. The study of handwriting is called heliography and it is a study in its own right. It's important to know that monks and nuns are not really challenging those texts.
