Microsoft's Open AI Approach to Google

Microsoft wanted to integrate cloud data into Bing. It wasn't explicit, but it was very implicit that like this was a path to them buying us. They were explicitly like anything that damages Google we want to do is what they said about open AI. And you could see how they could think about the social movement as being a way that they could get a better understanding of search and improve their search results in a way that Google could not.
