Carl: I don't think that argument holds water or it won't for much longer if it does now at all. The primary focus in life should be finding fulfillment, happiness, joy and personal growth. Money is the tool that can help facilitate all those things. While money is important, it is not the end goal that I thought it was. It's really just the start of a happy life and one component that could lead to it. But get your money together so it can help you with all that other stuff.
