The best way for authors to understand it is whatever's best for amazon, usually the thing. If they see that it's making it's converting better over all, it's making them more money, it stays. If it's costing them money, it's gone. What i will say for authors: We got to write our books and don't fall down rabbit hole. You know, find out what's going on then get back to your writing.
