The Importance of Wisdom in Adolescence
Dr. Gary Bell: Adolescents with ADHD are very impulsive. They act on sudden desires, whims and inclinations rather than careful thought. This leads to more graphic forms of impulsivity such as stealing and fighting. These kids do a lot better if you get them in college around 22 to 25 years old.
