The Earth's Atmosphere

Without an atmosphere, we wouldn't beer. We would just be out of breath and choked to deat. But we would also be a pretty toasted thanks to all the radiation coming from space. There was a time in the history of earth that we were basically naked,. right out in space, nothing to drape over us. It's a fascinating story that dates way back to the very beginning of the solar system with lots of dramatic pauses like volcanoes and meteors.
