Solidarity Occupations in Arcada and Portland

This chapter explores campus occupations in Arcada, California, and Portland, Oregon, in support of Gaza, inspired by the Columbia University protest. It covers the beginning of the Cal Poly Humboldt occupation, student and community involvement, intensified police response, confrontations leading to arrests and injuries, and a tense stand-off between occupiers and police.
