Isolating the Real World in the Lab Setting?
In the real world, there's like so much more that shapes your impression of a person. Part of what I try to do in my program of work is bring some more of that like naturalism back into the lab. And so we try to design experiments where we're sort of isolating things so we can study them in a controlled manner but also injecting at least some of this sort of natural energy that people might bring.
