i was born in boston, but we shortly thereafter moved to hong kong. i had this powerful, sincere simple, but real experience of encountering the gospel when i was a sophomore in high school. My whole adulthood has been one long lesson in trying to understand american christianity that is a perplexible combustible thing. I think there's something about perhaps thinking, maybe sometimes in a more poetic way, without without trying to,. just like the natural way in which my brain waves were formed from a young age. That have lent a sense of a gift and fresh imagination to others.
