Is There a Season of Waiting?

As a Christian, we are called to live in waiting. In Matthew 24, Jesus says, watch and wait. It's actually a season of waiting is meant to prolong a desire within us for the coming of Jesus. So there's actually something to living in the place of waiting that actually prepares you to receive more of God,. And it also teaches you to live in patience. I think patience should be a theme for the Christian yet.
