I Think Dure's Work on on on Textiles Is Incredible
Dure is interested in everything in the picture, and he's not foregrounding a particular element of the composition. And you can't help but think there's a little bit of an joke between him and giovanni billini. There are some things about it which make you think, actually, the scholar would appreciate this. The prize had become a bit more about good intentions than art itself - that was seen to end rather than beginning.
