It appears to fall from this that a condition must exist midway between matter and form - but nothing is more inconsistent in contradictory than such a conception. But I think that he agrees with you, which is why beauty ends up dealing with these contradictions. And it's an aesthetic activity, right? Beauty connects the two contrary conditions of sensation and thought, and yet there is no intermediary between them.
