Many of the studies done with resveratrol were done in mice that were obese. So do we have a study that shows that resveratol is of any benefit to humans or animals that are otherwise healthy? We do not. Chloric restriction in humans of optimal weight can be safely declared useless. Against an obese control, caloric restriction does, however, truly delay aging. If people are eating processed foods, they should probably eat less of it.
