Is a Block Chain Like a Data Base?

A block chain is a series of blocks that are chained together in series, building on one another. It's not exactlylike a like chris dixon would say, it's a block chain as a computer. And so we've got to hold these definitions, in a way, loosely, at least as they relate to the things we aready understand.
