Is There Value in Participatory Methodology?
So can you talk a little bit more about your experiences doing action research and a relatively traditional program well yeah. I was constantly kind of defending myself right like because a lot of people in this traditional program there's very conventional attitudes towards what constitutes research or constitutes data, he says. So for me purposely using participatory methodology to offer a voice to those that are most affected by the challenges that I had identified through my research that was a foreign concept so I got pushed back oftentimes but it did create some doubt at times.
