i was continually impressed by his the way in which he was able to ond of accomplish the worn that he did under extraordinarily adverse circumstances. And so, you know, i developed an enormous admiration for his ability toto continue to persevere through those circumstances and to a be as prolific and successful as he was. He's unique among architects in terms of willingness to admit his mistakes, right? I think that, in that way, i find him to be a very sympathetic figure. So much of what interests me about process of making things, objects, buildings, books, whatever you're putting out into the world is how fraught it can be.
