In the 19 nineties, did it also feel like market power was a preferable objective to political power? Or that it really that that sort of markets over politics? After, after 19 92, although i think, you know, and the book doesn't really sort out the causation. But if you read the biographies of these princelings, they wanted to stay in government. You know, if they had been given the opportunity, if the resistance against the rise wasn't so strong, they would have stayed in because for them, growing up in a so called red family, being in government is the ultimate objective.
