The members of thi church believe that they alone are doing the right thing by the lord and by their neighbors, because they are telling the truth of the bible. The parents of the church have been described as loving, attentive and respectful, as well as extremely mentally and physically abusive at the slightest provocation. But at the epi centre of everything is a man known affectionately as gramps, who struck me most of all as a sort of haunted scarecrow come to life. He's also been described by the family as both soft and loving and terrifyingly violent and cruel.
