What Is Your Threat Model?
A user's threat model is a way of thinking about the kinds of security precautions that they need to take, you know, broadly. One person's threat model might include an abusive ex-partner or political persecution by their government. Another person might be at risk of getting spearfished because they are an executive in a large company. You're looking at all these different things to take into consideration where for a lot of us maybe we don't necessarily have particularly sensitive either life-critical, like life-safety like issues in mind.
