Lithium nevada is planning to build a lithium mine in northern Nevada. The company wants to use sulphuric acid to separate the lithium from what clay is left. Local farmers and ranchers say they're sick of sacrificing their land for mining. They are concerned that it will lead to an increase in air pollution, which could harm wildlife.
