I think first of all, it helps me name and be more comfortable with the fact that there are a lot of things that are out of our control. This is the leadership skill of dealing with ambiguity. We want to put the fancy leadershipy terms on it. It means being comfortable with uncertainty. I accept that there's going to be some uncertainty and I'm going to operate in a way that we can still move forward. They play off of each other. But accepting both is fact is uncertainty a fact. Yes, it is. You're planning for uncertainty and I need to go buy books and read more about this."
