The Cost of Living in Rural Wyoming
You had to drive 45 minutes to the grocery store. You do shopping for your neighbors as well. And they do it for you because there's no point in all 50 of us going to the store every week. The interesting thing is, my salary was remarkably low, but conversely, the cost of living was remarkably low. If we cut off some of the weight of the meat or we take away one of the pickles, you're actually getting less at the same price. That goes into the inflation calculation.
