Criticism and judgment does not cause fear. Not living up to an expectation doesn't cause fear in anybody. But it was conditioned because criticism and judgment threat to my survival. That's a threat to your survival too. So again, every time not living up toan expectation was present, so was feeling unloved by the person on whom your survival depended. And the only reason you feel fear today is because you never made that distinction as a child.
