The Tesla Short Thesis

The primary issue with the Tesla short was that everyone on the long side of the trade knew the whole short thesis and didn't care. Once people start to believe that and it starts to grow like a virus, that's when you want to push because then all of a sudden we agree on how we're valuing the security. The other market participants are over time going to start winning or losing as they do so.
