A Teacher With No Design Training
A friend of mine had an idea for a dancer knee pad. But she was like, those are too bulky. They don't serve our purpose. She essentially otyped and then tested it with people in the studio where she teaches,. Did research to figure out how she could find somebody to make them for her, a cut and sew team. To this day, even though she's still making them, they're all made by hand by folks local in massachusetts. Andand i just love to share this as a story, partly because that's design. Anyone who wants to argue that that's not human centre design come at me a little bit harder.
