It's really important to practice thinking on your feet. Some learners of English will think, right, I need to plan the entire thing from start to finish before I start talking. You can't do it. And you should be practicing like making it up as you go along. This goes back to the core skills again, that this spontaneity you can only get by really focusing on these core skills. So just practice, get the exam tasks, sample ones from the past with the cue cards and just practice, practice,practice, practice, practice.
