Fritzy's Interpretive Dance
Trizzie's father died of consumption when she was 17 or 18 years old. Her mother moved to San Diego in 1921, hoping the dry weather would cure her daughter Helen who also had consumption. Trizzie trained under a prima ballerina named Domina Marini and learned interpretive dance as part of her training. The idea behind it is to physically translate traditional myths and legends from Middle East and Asia.
