The Complexity of Lived Experience
When you are only talking to other people who are doing the same thing as you, it's easy to over expand the significance of very small differences. It becomes easy to get a little puritanical about your practice as a feminist because you aren't actually thinking about the complexity of lived experience. And luckily for me, when I first started making community in Vancouver, I was making it primarily through making a podcast and inviting interesting feminists into being my friends.
