The Contradictions Between Traditional Islamic Perspectives on Female Male Relationship and Feminist Perspectives

Dr. Haver: I think that's often not explored, is it? You often get a surface kind of argument about individual laws or individual views about say inheritance or this or that. But you're looking deeper at the fundamental understandings of these two paradigms and saying, you know, that they're not necessarily compatible. And actually, it came from a long experience of teaching gender in Islam, and then later on teaching feminism.
