I think the East Coast might have been a little easier for me to acclimatize to in that sense. If you drive an hour and a half, you're an entirely new metropolitan area. Or else you're just in traffic and Queens. It's kind of like, well, just depends on the traffic. I always miss driving because I don't have a car in the city. But then I also remember how demoralizing it is for like life draining to be stuck in traffic and to be commuting. And even I was recently Portland, and had that same feeling.
