Is There a Primary Respiratory Disorder?

The ratios were probably developed in a very specificlae, and it's very difficult to generalize. It's really rare to have a metabolic acedosis from a chronic respiratory acalosis unless we're screwing up the vent. So i think on the whole using an a, b, gr, v b g to search for primary respiratory disorder, it's a little bit of a zebra. Sometimes you'll find goodness here, but most of the time i feel like youre be poking a lot of patients and not getting a lot of good, useful information.
